This kit contains the magenta printhead, one of six in your Designjet printer. Each printhead takes ink from the cartridge and applies it to the paper. This kit also includes a printhead cleaner, which protects and maintains the printhead when not in use. HP printheads are designed for durability, so you only need to replace them when notified by your printer.
